PhD Thesis: Keeping clients in line: A grounded theory explaining how veterinary surgeons control their clients. 

Varied experience of using Glaserian GT as an independent research consultant and, more recently, as an academic researcher. Past studies using classic Grounded Theory research methodology have explored the main concerns of survivors of child sexual abuse; opportunising behaviour in the context of construction organisations, and self protecting behaviour in interagency working. 

Ongoing GT research with Dr Andy Lowe seeks to explore supervising/experiences of being supervised during the GT PhD.

Current role is research associate with the forward thinking Dept of Civil and Building Engineering, Loughborough University exploring innovative practices in manufacturing, and transdisciplinary working.

GT mentor for EngD student using ethnographic data to understand the main concerns of interdisciplinary design team members working in project environments.
